Pace installs, repairs and tests gas lines across Houston. New runs for a range, a dryer, a water heater, a pool heater or an outdoor kitchen. Repairs on lines that failed a test or failed with age. Pressure testing when the gas company needs a passing test before service is restored.
If you smell gas right now
Do not use switches, phones or anything that sparks. Leave the building. From somewhere else, call your gas utility and report it. Once the line is made safe, call Pace at 713-659-7669 for the repair and the test.
Pressure testing and gas company shutoffs
When the gas company shuts a meter off, service does not come back until the system passes a pressure test. Pace performs the test, finds what is failing if it does not hold, makes the repair, and retests. Older Houston housing stock frequently has abandoned lines and dead legs from appliances that left decades ago, and those are usually what fails the test.
New gas runs, done to code
Adding a gas range, a dryer, a tankless heater, a pool heater or a grill line means sizing the pipe for the load, not just reaching the appliance. An undersized line starves everything on the system. We size it, run it, test it, and leave it inspected and correct.
